Same-Day Braces Overview
Same-day braces are a great way to align your teeth and create a straighter, happier smile using a series of brackets, elastic, and wires. Children, teens, and adults are all candidates for traditional braces.
What We Do
Braces can treat a variety of alignment issues, including:
Generally crooked teeth
How Same-Day Braces Work
Same-day braces use a system of brackets, bands, and wires to correct the alignment of your teeth and straighten your smile.
What to Expect
Everyone who gets same-day braces in Fairfax receives a customized treatment plan. Once your braces are applied after your consultation, it’ll probably take a little time for your lips and cheeks to adjust, but we use state-of-the-art practices and materials to ensure the most comfortable braces. We also provide a wax to create a smoother surface over the metal brackets to ease that transition.
Once your braces are in place, your provider will show you everything you need to know to care for them and your teeth. Usually the wires need replaced every 1 to 2 months to continue advancing alignment.
A Better Braces Experience
We use advanced 3D scanning that eliminates the mess and discomfort of traditional mold-taking. This achieves the best possible treatment plan and fit, and allows us to offer convenient options like same-day braces.
Focus on Education
Our role is to help you understand the “why” behind your treatment, every step of the way. When it comes to pediatric orthodontics, we educate the parents, too! We want every patient to feel like they are a part of the process.
